논문심사기간 : 2019. 5. 1(수) ∼ 5. 31(금)  심사기간 내에만 심사가능합니다.

1. 박사학위청구논문심사 요청서(심사개최 2주전 제출)

     - 졸업관리시스템 학위논문관리에서 등록 후 출력하여 제출             

     - 심사장소는 과사무실에 예약

     - Proposal 학위논문제목 및 심사위원 변경시 반드시 사유기입 

2. 박사학위논문심사결과 및 종합시험 결과보고서 : 2019. 6. 7(금)까지 제출

    - 제출서류: 결과보고서 1부, 심사요지 5부 - 졸업관리시스템 학위논문관리에서 등록 후 출력

                   국외학술지 게재 논문 증빙 1부

    - 졸업논문 충족요건 : SCI(E)에 등재된 국제학술지 1편이상 게재

    - 2010학번 부터  Impact Factor 합이 기초분야 4, 공학분야 2 이상을 최소요건으로 함.

    - 2015학번(석박통합과정), 2016학번(박사과정) 부터 Impact Factor 합이 기초분야 6, 공학분야 4 이상을 최소요건으로 함.

      (단일 논문으로는 IF 기초분야 5, 공학분야 3 / IF는 가장 최근 IF와 5년 평균 IF 중 높은 것을 적용)

    - 기한 내에 인쇄논문 및 논문심사결과보고서 미제출자는 해당 학위수여 사정 대상에서 제외됨

 

3. 2019년 8월 졸업대상자를 위한 학위논문 심사 및 제출일정(첨부), 석·박사 학위논문 작성요령에 대한 포탈 공지사항을 참조하시기 바랍니다.

This is a notice for dissertation evaluation.

Evaluation duration : May 1(Wed) ∼ May 31(Fri) 2019

1. The Evaluation of Dissertation for the Doctoral Degree (submit two weeks before the evaluation date)

    - Please ask available room for defense in advance

    - The reason must be stated if the thesis title or evaluation committe changes

 

2. Defense Result & Test Report : By Jun. 7(Fri) 2019

   - Report on Evaluation of Ph. D. Dissertation and Comprehensive Examinations(1 copy), Evaluation Summary on Ph. D. Dissertation(5 copies)

   - Requirement for graduation thesis: At least 1 international science journal must be published in SCI(E).

   - Students who entered KAIST in 2010, the total Impact factor must be over basic part 4, engineering part2.

   - For Students who entered KAIST in 2015(MS.D.&Ph.D. combined), 2016(Ph.D.), the total Impact factor must be over basic part 6, engineering part 4.

     (For a single thesis, IF basic part 5, engineering 3 / For IF, apply it the most highest grade between the latest IF and an average of 5 years of IF)

   - The students who didnt submit the printed paper and dissertation evaluation result report within the period, will be ruled out for graduation. (please see attached file)
