KAIST 의과학연구센터에서는 기부자 고(故) Kan L. Agarwal 시카고 대학교 교수의 뜻에 따라 「Agarwal Award」를 제정하고 KAIST내에서 우수한 기초 생명과학 및 의과학분야의 연구 업적을 낸 과학자에게 시상하고 있습니다. 「Agarwal Award」수상 후보자를 발굴하고자 아래와 같이 공고하오니 자격을 갖춘 분이 있을 경우에 널리 추천하여 주시기 바랍니다.

· 과거 혹은 현재 KAIST 소속인 학생 및 연구원
· 수상일 기준 2년 이내(2011년 8월 1일부터 2013년 7월 31일) 발표된 논문
3. 수상자 선정
현재 Agarwal Award 수상자 심사위원은 박찬규 교수, 최길주 교수, 김대수 교수, 신의철 교수, 이지오 교수, 백광희 교수(경희대)입니다. 본인 또는 타인의 우수한 연구결과가 있으면 심사위원 중 한 분에게 구두 또는 서면으로 추천 가능합니다. 추천에 필요한 별도의 서류는 없습니다. 심사위원회에서는 어떤 형태로든 추천받은 후보와 심사위원회 자체 조사한 우수 연구자들을 구별하지 않고 심사합니다.

Engineering established the 「Agarwal Award」 following the wishes of the late Professor Kan L. Agarwal of Chicago
University, and has been awarding it to outstanding scientists in the field of
biological and medical sciences within KAIST. Notice for nominating candidates
for the 「Agarwal Award」 is as
below. We encourage nomination of many eligible scientists.

- Past or current KAIST students or researchers
- Journals that have been published within two years of the awarding
date (1 Aug 2011~ 31 Jul 2013)
3. Declaration of Winner
- The current members of the Judging Committee for the Agarwal Award
are Professor Chankyu Park, Professor Gil Tsu Choi, Professor, Daesoo Kim,
Professor Eui-Cheol Shin, Professor Jie-Oh Lee, and Professor Kwang Hee Baek
(Kyung Hee University). You can nominate yourself or others based on excellent
research results to Professor Chankyu Park or any one of the judges either
orally or in writing. The Judging Committee equally evaluates all candidates from
both nomination and general search.
