구조생물학(Cryo-EM, X-ray 결정학)을 활용해 세포 간 소통에 중요한 단백질 복합체의 분자구조를 규명하고 생명현상의 분자기전을 이해한다. 또한 이러한 구조적·기능적 통찰을 바탕으로 AI 기반 단백질 디자인을 활용한 신약 후보 설계부터 생산·정제, 구조 분석, 세포·동물 모델에서의 포괄적 효능 검증에 이르는 통합적 혁신신약 개발 연구를 수행한다.
