본 연구실은 마우스 모델과 인간 뇌 오가노이드 시스템을 이용해 뇌 발달 및 성체 뇌에서 신경줄기세포의 세포분열, 운명 결정, 분화, 세포 이동이 정밀하게 조절되는 기전을 연구한다. 이를 바탕으로 조현병, 자폐증, 소두증 등 다양한 신경발달질환의 원인과 병태생리를 밝히고, 치료법 개발에 기여하고자 한다. 

Our laboratory investigates the mechanisms that regulate neural stem cell division, fate specification, differentiation, and migration during brain development and in the adult brain, using both mouse models and human brain organoid systems. Through these approaches, we aim to elucidate the etiology of human neurodevelopmental disorders, including microcephaly, autism, and schizophrenia.
