본 연구실은 시각, 청각 등 감각 자극이 뇌에서 통합되어 인지적 판단과 행동을 조절하는 신경 회로 기전을 연구한다. 광유전학과 생체 내 이미징, 생체 내 전기생리학 신경신호 측정 기술로 감각 지각, 감각 통합, 주의 집중, 의사결정의 원리를 규명하며, 자폐 등 뇌 질환의 회로적 원인을 밝혀내는 연구실이다.

Our laboratory explores how the brain integrates sensory inputs, including vision and hearing, to drive cognitive decision-making and behavior. Using a multidisciplinary approach that combines optogenetics, in vivo imaging, and electrophysiology, we decipher the principles of perceptual learning and decision-making, uncovering the circuit-level mechanisms underlying sensory processing disorders like autism.
