Our laboratory aims to elucidate the biological functions and molecular mechanisms of metabolism-based signaling. Utilizing a multidisciplinary approach—ranging from biochemical analysis and cell biology to mouse models—we investigate the intricate pathways through which nutrients and hormones regulate cellular and organ functions. In particular, we focus on the signaling networks associated with inositol phosphate metabolism, with the ultimate goal of providing innovative therapeutic strategies for cancer, obesity, and inflammatory diseases
