암 전이는 암세포가 원발암에서 떨어져 나와 주변 조직을 침투하고, 혈관을 통해 이동하면서 2차 기관에 새로운 암을 형성하는 과정이다. 본 연구실은 고형암이 2차 장기로 전이되는 과정에서, 암 미세환경과 전이암 세포 간의 상호작용에 기여하는 다양한 기전 및 전이암의 약물 반응성과 그 조절 기전을 규명하는 연구를 진행하고 있다.

Cancer metastasis is a multistep process in which cancer cells spread from the primary tumor and colonize distant organs. Our laboratory investigates the molecular and cellular mechanisms of solid tumor metastasis, with a focus on tumor microenvironment interactions and the regulation of therapeutic response.
