진핵세포의 전사 과정은 크로마틴 구조와 다양한 전사인자들에 의해 정교하게 조절된다. 본 연구실은 재조합 크로마틴과 순수 정제한 히스톤 변형 효소를 이용한 각종 in vitro 기능 분석과 함께 세포 기반 분석을 병행하여, 히스톤 변형 효소의 고유한 작동 원리와 전사 과정에서의 역할을 분자 수준에서 규명하고자 한다.

Eukaryotic transcription is precisely regulated by chromatin structure and various transcription factors. Our laboratory aims to elucidate the molecular mechanisms and functional roles of histone-modifying enzymes in the transcription process. Our research employs an integrated approach combining cell-based assays with in vitro functional studies using recombinant chromatin and purified histone modifiers.
