About Lab.
본 연구실은 시냅스의 발달, 구조, 기능 및 가소성의 이상과 신경회로의 결함이 자폐, 조현병 등 다양한 정신질환을 유발하는 기전(Synaptopathy)을 연구합니다. 유전자변형 생쥐 모델을 활용해 질환의 발병 원인을 규명하고, 궁극적으로 뇌 기능의 근본적인 이해와 치료에 공헌하고자 합니다.
Our lab studies Synaptopathies—how defects in synaptic functions and neural circuits cause psychiatric disorders like autism and ADHD. Using mutant mouse models, we aim to uncover pathological mechanisms, understand core brain functions, and develop novel therapies.
