면역계는 외부 병원체에 대항하는 정교한 방어 시스템을 넘어 암, 알레르기, 대사, 노화 및 퇴행성 질환 등 여러 병리 기전에서 핵심적 역할을 수행한다. 본 연구실은 염증반응의 분자기전과 면역세포의 발달·분화 과정을 규명하고, 종양면역미세환경 내 세포 간 상호작용을 이해하며, 이를 기반으로 난치성 질환 극복을 위한 차세대 면역치료 개발을 목표로 한다

Beyond its role as a sophisticated defense system against external pathogens, the immune system plays a pivotal role in the pathogenesis of various conditions, including cancer, allergies, metabolic disorders, aging, and neurodegenerative diseases. Our laboratory investigates the molecular mechanisms of inflammatory responses, elucidates the development and differentiation of immune cells, and seeks to understand intercellular communication within the tumor immune microenvironment, with the aim to develop next-generation immunotherapeutic strategies to overcome intractable diseases
