Our lab develops next-generation technologies based on RNA gene editing, synthetic biology, and optogenetics to achieve precise spatiotemporal control of cellular and brain functions. Through this work, we seek to uncover the fundamental principles of life and the mechanisms underlying disease, and ultimately extend these advances into innovative therapeutic strategies for human disorders.
