우리 연구실은 학습과 기억의 신경 메커니즘을 연구하고 있습니다. 특히 새로운 기억이 만들어질 때 뇌에서 일어나는 변화와, 어떻게 기억이 시냅스와 뇌세포에 인코딩되고 저장되는지, 그리고 과거의 기억이 현재의 의사결정 및 미래에 대한 예측에 어떻게 영향을 미치는지 연구하고 있습니다. 나아가 뇌질환에서 이런 뇌 기능이 어떻게 영향을 받는지 규명하고 치료 기술을 개발하고 있습니다.

Our laboratory studies the neural mechanisms of learning and memory. In particular, we investigate the changes in the brain during memory formation, how memories are encoded and stored in synapses and neurons, and how past experiences influence decision-making and predictions about the future. We also study how these brain functions are affected in neurological disorders and develop new treatments.
